More foundations will be disassembled for infringing upon natural laws amid the 60-day restoration design of the Department of Tourism and Department (DOT) of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), an authority said Saturday. 

DILG Assistant Secretary for Plans and Programs Epimaco Densing III said amid a news discussion in Quezon City that the 60-day recovery design, which would involve closing down foundations on the whole resort island, will be displayed to President Rodrigo Duterte amid the Cabinet meeting on Monday, March 5. 

"There will be a great deal of structures, which will be disassembled or pulverized," Densing said. 

The restoration design's objective time period is from June 1 to July 31. 

He approached resort proprietors to coordinate with the recovery design once it is endorsed by Duterte.

He said the proposition of Tourism Secretary Wando Teo and DILG officer-in-control Eduardo Año to force a 60-day ban on the tasks of foundations in Boracay expects to reestablish the island to its unblemished condition. 

"Ano ba naman iyong 60 days... 60 days lang po, schedule dad 'yan, para maglinis, hindi naman tuluyang isasara," the DILG official said.
